As more B2C (business-to-consumer) companies communicate and connect with their markets on Twitter, B2B (business-to-business) companies are recognizing opportunities to reach out to their markets as well.

Run a contest, post a joke, express joy, ask questions – any of these options can help your Twitter feed be more personable.
  • Think quality, not quantity. Some B2B marketers and branding folks may feel intimidated at the thought of maintaining a Twitter account. They may feel like the “live feed” nature of the site means that they’ll need to be “on” 24/7, or close to it, to have any impact. The truth is that most companies find that quality of Tweets is more important that the frequency of Tweets.
